A relaxed waxed barn jacket in olive, defined by its generous shoulder, low-set patch pockets and dusty pink corduroy collar.

The shell is waxed stretch cotton. The wax sits in the fibres and gives the surface a water-repellent film, so rain beads and runs off instead of soaking through. The elastane means it moves when you do: lifting a saddle, reaching for a headcollar, throwing a rug over a wet back.

The collar is fixed corduroy, cut to sit down against the neck rather than stand away from it , soft when you turn it up against the wind in the arena. Two flap pockets sit low on the front, deep enough for treats, gloves or a hoof pick without anything working its way out. Inside, a light blue quilted lining runs through the body and cuffs, warm where the cold gets in first when you're standing still at the rail.

Waxed cotton doesn't stay the same. Rain, wind and everyday yard wear give the surface a living texture and deeper tones, and every crease and mark builds a character that's yours alone. The jacket gets more personal the longer you wear it.

Oversized throughout, so it layers over a knit or hoodie on frozen stable mornings and still looks considered when you drive into town after.
